Night 1

Kristi and Benjamin left for the Philippines tonight, leaving three children responsible for me. Here are tonight’s highlights so that she can read all about it when she returns.

• Unlike last year when you left, I yelled. Not lose my voice or sore throat level… but when your kid says he can sleep while laying on top of his book shelf a guy has to do what a guy has to do.

• Tonight was vacuuming for the daughter night. I bribed the kids with mom is gone candy (Mike and Ikes, Sour Mike and Ikes, Milk Duds) due to candy I did not allow ice cream.

• Each child had their own bowl of soup and artisanal grilled cheese. Not sure it was artisinal but I just like the word as I heared it pronounced artis-anal and it made me smile.

• I did a lot of dishes

• Daughter 1 is shaking the house with the massage gun. Shin splints moved to the ankle.

• Oh boy who couldn’t/wouldn’t/will not ever sleep fell asleep in about 10 minutes. I win round 1.
