  • We reached peak Joshua today. Wow.

  • Honestly we may have reached peak everybody, the big push to break is over and we are ready for some rest

  • Movie night - Curious George Cape Ahoy or something

  • Snack run for our trip

  • Free vacuums at Quality Car Wash, when used sparingly, are a great treat for the children - “Can we do this again?” As we left was a good sign.

  • All pets and children are healthy

Day Night 8

  • One week down. One to go… which seems a little nuts

  • Madeleine has stepped it up big time. I’m nto sure if she’s good with school work, but at home she’s been amazing

  • Josh runs 100% until bedtime when he flips to 150%. Then he dies. (Figuratively)

  • The days are getting longer, and harder

  • Josh got a tie-dye hat from Steven, and went to Everett’s showcase about fractions(?)

  • Want to place bets on Joshua taking the bus home tomorrow? We can also bet how much the dryer repair will be…

  • Everyone is looking forward to Nashville

Day Night 7

  • Still on top of things. Just not as high as we’ve been on prevous days

  • Maddie actually had tennis

  • Joshua was supposed to take the bus home… he missed it.

  • Soccer parents are annoying

  • Kayleigh hit a home run with her Casey at the Bat presentation

  • I found out West Ottawa is a Destination School

  • The dryer finally called it quits. Repair guy comes Thursday

  • Redeemed dates are in the calendar

Day Night 6

  • Everyone in the right place at the right time. Not nearly as early as we were last week

  • Except Joshua who got up at 6:15…

  • Madeleine has been a boss and has a bruise growing on her right knee, it’s going to look cool.

  • Running club is a zoo.

  • Kayleigh struggled with apush some more, feeling sad

  • I’m struggling with co-worker performance at the office

  • All in all… a Monday.

  • Also, someone has been buying out all the grape crystal light in the tri-city area. In related news, the top shelf of the book shelf is packed once again. As it should be.
